What is "A Place Of Freedom"?

It all started in early December 2005 with a letter telling me how much my website inspired him spiritually. Mark and I started writing back and forth and in January I decided to make him a Co-Owner of the Corzoconia Inc. Website. We decided to make a Christian website for people to visit and learn more about the Lord. We agreed that we would post stories and poems that our friends sent us as well as ones that we write our selves. Together we started with just the base. Like for starters all we had to start with was the main page, We didn't even have a name for the site yet. Eventually Mark wrote me and suggested the name "Glorious Gathering". I miss understood what he meant and made that the name of our Devotions page. Then Mark wrote me and suggested “A Place of Freedom” . I agreed whole heartedly, and the website has been named that ever since. Here I'll let Mark tell you what we do here at “A Place of Freedom”.

“A Place of Freedom” website is a place where you can find stories, clean jokes, recipes,  poems, devotionals, and a few other things from time to time that in some way lift up the name of the Lord or put a smile on your face, or give you something worth your time to think about.  It is a site where we strive to teach our viewers a little more about the Lord and who He is, as well as show in words a little bit about the relationship that He desires to have with His people.  We call it “A Place of Freedom” for a couple of reasons.  One reason is, it is a good place to get on and read, and take a minute to unload from the care of an every day busy life.  A life that is full of distractions and a culture that often seems too busy for God.  As you take a moment to look through and read pages on this site, I believe you will find that a lot of things written here will remind you of the Lord, God in Heaven and the peace and freedom He offers: Freedom for our Souls.

Another reason it is called “A Place of Freedom” is because it is a site in which you can have a part in and say what you want to in the form of stories, jokes, poems, prayers, or just anything you think people should think about.  What do I mean, well every one is welcome to send us things to PlaceOfFreedom@gmail.com, and if we can at all we will be more than happy to post it for you on our site.  There are times we receive things that we can not post, due to copyright laws, or once and a while due to the nature of the material.  For instance, if you decide to send us something, it would need to one be appropriate for a Christian web site, meaning the content is clean and safe, and it must not stray to much from what we at “A Place of Freedom” believe to be biblical truth.  We at “A Place of Freedom”, do not have to agree with every thing in full that is sent to “A Place of Freedom”, but over all it needs to be supported in the bible as truth.  One more thing, if you decide to send us something for the site, it would be helpful if you would specify if what you are sending is a joke, poem, story, or recipe.  This would help us decide where to post what you send on “A Place of Freedom” website.  IF you do not tell us this in your post we will simply place it where we see fit.

Several of you have been sending us things for the site regularly and to you we want to say a hardy thank you.
